The botanical garden is also known as the Bhaskar Reddy Botanical garden. Spread across an extensive area the green patch of land is a real eye candy for the visitors.
The arboretum has myriad species of trees , plants and herbs in it. The lush green fields of the garden are a relief to the eye. There is a very meager entry fee to get admission to this wonderful botanical garden. For the children you have to pay a meager five rupees and its ten bucks for the adults. The botanical garden has some of the rarest species of plants in it. Starting from medicinal herbs to unique variety of flowers everything is found in this garden.
For the visitor's sake almost all the trees have a placard either attached to it or kept infront of the plants so that the onlookers atleast get to know the colloquial name and the scientific names of the species.
