Kaanipakam

Kaanipakam is 70 KM from Tirupathi and having nearly more than 1000 years of history of the "Varasiddi Vinayaka" present here. It is situated west of Chittor in the way towards Irala. The Lord Varasiddi Vinayaka here is in side a well, which is having the significance that he is protecting the man kind from not to fall in to the well of "Samsaram". One more interesting thing is that the size of the idol here is increasing day by day, one can see the different sizes of the Kavachas offered to the lord at different occassions from past so many years. Daily so many people visit this place and Vinayaka being the god of the begining people also consider this place very sacred.
So many miracles happend in kaanipakam.Blind brothers around 1000 years ago started digging a well for cultivating their fields but a idol of "Varasiddi Vinayaka" came out of the well and the brothers got cured from their blindness and they could able to see the world as a normal persons. Brothers from that day started worshipping the god in the well and the place become very popular since then. The place is also having other temples of lord "Shiva", lord "Vishnu" which are also having nearly 1000 years of history.
Way to Kaanipakam:
Government is running buses from Tirupathi and also privated buses and vehicles are available to go to Kaanipakam
From chittor Government is running buses to Kaanipakam and also private vehicles are available.
For the people comming from far places its recommended that they go to Tirupathi or Chittor and from their go to Kaanipakam.
